Diesel leak from in between the rear passenger side of the motor and the bell housing just behind the starter It looks like the diesel is actually coming out of the bell housing I noticed diesel leaking from the bottom of the bell housing (under torque converter) onto the pavement, making a pretty good puddle I climbed on top of the engine and the valley is dry There is a little bit of diesel in the valve cover (towards middle of engine) on the drivers side that may be running to the back of the engine. 2011 f350 with 220,000 miles on it
I have a diesel fuel leak somewhere on back end of engine Sometimes, depending on fuel, it leaks bad, 1' circle on ground and at times hardly at all Recently it has dropped my mileage from 17.2 to 15 mpg I can't find it but runs off back side of oil pan w/ some on driver side of oil pan Is it going to leave me on side of road I smelled fuel every time i would get out of the truck and discovered this leak underneath on the driver's side, does anyone know if this connector can be changed or do i need to replace the whole line
Figured this deserved its own thread Truck has 349 miles on it just picked up saturday on halloween I was driving to class this morning and noticed my fuel gauge had dropped a lot Thought that was a little odd since my 6.0 would go. The truck doesn't see a lot of use in winter. Truck has 208,000 miles on it
Leaking fuel into the valley I took the upper and lower intake off and cleaned all the fuel up so i could see and with the key on there is fuel coming out from the bottom of the. I've had what i think is diesel fuel leaking from around an injector for a few months now Tried dye in the fuel tank and can't get anything to show up It seems to leak either when i'm driving or shortly after i shut the vehicle off because i can never see it actually leaking or dripping Fired up my 6.7 and its leaking fuel bad i let it kind of dry out so i could see where its coming from i found this on the driver side of the engine bay near the fuel line does anyone know what exactly this would be called ?
