The states with the least vaccine hesitancy were rhode island, where only 6% of adults say they will probably or definitely not get the vaccine, followed by hawaii (5.8%) and connecticut (5.3%). The following states saw the lowest rates of vaccinations for general diseases Mississippi, alaska, kentucky, oklahoma and texas. Below is a list of the states with the lowest estimated vaccination rates, according to vaccine type (listed in the cdc study) and reflecting the percentage of children ages 19 to 35 months.
