The audio plays just fine, but the video just stays frozen Friends streaming their games on discord, can only hear the audio but the video is loading infinitely Tried restarting discord and stuff. Discord pc has been unable to play videos where only the audio plays while the video frames does not move However some other videos seem fine and work normally Discord is a voice, video, and text communication service used by over a hundred million people to hang out and talk with their friends and communities.
Every video that i watch has the audio come through my discord It's not everything, for example, my friends don't hear themselves, and they don't hear any games that i play, it's only videos that i watch on youtube, hulu, netflix, etc. Videos only play audio for awhile now when i try to watch videos on discord sometimes it will turn black and only play the audio It happens randomly and sometimes it fixes itself after a few minutes Any ideas on how to fix it Ive found no help on google
If i download the video (mp4) then it plays with my local video player just fine I have flatseal, in case there is some special setting i need to make to make video play This is only a bandaid fix and i find myself having to reinstall the app daily to send functional videos Reiterates my point about the app being garbage. Whenever i'm calling with my friends in a discord channel, the internal sounds of my computer (youtube sounds, soundcloud sounds, etc) are transmitted So, they can hear what i hear, even though i'm using an earbud headset
